Answr started in 2024, when our founders watched a product with the best docs in its category lose every AI recommendation to a competitor with better citations. The tooling to even notice didn't exist. So we built it: consented sampling across the major answer engines, citation tracing, and a workflow that turns visibility gaps into shippable fixes.
2024
Founded. First prototype samples 3 platforms for 12 design partners.
2025
First-party telemetry ships — capturing AI crawler and referral activity — alongside Agent Analytics and the Actions queue.
2026
The Answr Index goes public. Demand tracking and Workflows ship; SOC 2 and GDPR alignment work begins.
